Knowledge Box

This is so random I know...but below are some tips you might find useful when studying:

Topshop lace top & beanie hat, Billabong denim shorts, Antyk Butyk necklace, DKNY watch from Urban Icon, Uniqlo tights, Up wedges
  • Don't get caught in memorizing definitions or terms. When you are able to understand the most basic foundation (what, why, how), it's much easier to comprehend and explain things in your own words.

  • Challenge things. Don't just read and say, "oh so that's how it works". Ask, "why does it work that way? Can it work as well if we change A into B?".

  • For every topic we study, find a living example. Referring to examples is the greatest way to study.

  • See the bigger picture. Try to understand how one connects to another. At the end, everything falls under a system. Think systematically.

Enjoy! :)

Kebaya & Mangga Kweni

This is something to be really appreciated...and attempt of sustaining our culture and package it into something modern...a kebaya-shirt? Who would've thought...:)

Btw, I'm always amazed by how creative Mizone is...the idea of what they did in this video below is brilliant! :)

You guys should try their latest variant, Mizone 'Mangga Kweni'...it's reeeaaally good that you can even make it into a party drink! :)

I really enjoy studying, and I hope one day I'll be able to pursue a Ph.D degree together with S...perhaps in America? Amiiiiin insya Allah...:)

Dorothy Shop tulle dress, Velvet velvet cape, Hot Topic boots

S and I were actually classmates during our Postgraduate study, and there's just something about us that "clicks" when studying, discussing, debating and doing assignments together...perhaps that's how we fell in love hehehe...;p

Say, "I Am Happy".

"Being original" is addictive, because us who are used to being true to ourselves, will always need to be true to ourselves. It grows as a habit and builds up into a character, and once in that stage, it becomes ingrained into an establishment of a lifetime. There's something about it, really. Being original gives us the fullest gratitude and satisfaction of who we really are, that we embrace ourselves and the humankind happily. We become tolerant and appreciative towards everyone's differences, because we accept everyone to be individually unique. So we live peaceful, in life and in mind.

I believe in holding strong our cultural & moral values, and the significant importance of living responsible to God. But other than that, we should be free to set our minds and act on what we think is best for us, although such must be heavily noted that "what's best for us does not dis-benefit others" as well.

Say "no" when we simply don't want to.
Stand up when we don't agree.
Facilitate discussions, not kill ideas instantly.
Work on something we're passionate about.
Wear something we genuinely like.
Be proud of our physical appearance.

Be 100% original...:)

Childhood Times

Things that made me happy:

Kamiseta denim shorts, Dorothy Perkins tights, Up wedges

1) I finally found a watch I really really like! For all these times, I've seriously never picked my own watch or even bought a watch, since all the watches I've been wearing are always gifts either from my dad, mom or S. The watch I've finally fallen in love with & got on my own is this:

I just loooooove the combination of the white & gold together...it's elegant yet casual yet formal yet fun. Got it from Urban Icon store at Grand Indonesia...yay!! :)

2) I went Hello-Kitty-shopping today! Yayyyyyyy!! I love Hello Kitty...period.

Mom was so nice to bear with my craze over this Hello Kitty shop we happened to pass by. It's so cute I felt like a princess...:D I bought a t-shirt and a (kid's) raincoat! Hahah..

Like A G6

You know that saying, that when you're sane among the insanes, you'll eventually end up being the most insane? I think this describes my feeling the most. I am confused, because words seem to be flying around the air, and every time they fly, they mean differently. They take off with one but land with another. And within the process, I get lost.

Words can be the sweetest thing to hear, but they can hurt us worse than a knife. Feel before we think, think before we speak. At the end of the day, no words can actually heal a broken heart. We heal because we're just supposed to.
