Despite my upsetting day which I shared on Twitter (too lazy to write / talk about it again), I feel sooooo happy today...somehow. I feel so blessed. S had a good day, and that makes mine a good one too. Reached home early. My driver knows almost all roads in Jakarta so it's easier to reach places. Got myself a cup of Starbucks's hot chocolate. Got the time to chat with my parents. Chatted with my brother via BBM. Played with my domestic-helper's baby and managed to make her giggle. Read through my customers' emails and that somehow gave me peace. Thank you, Allah...:)

Anyway, I haven't shared with you...but I got these cuuuute goodies from Jezmine of Old Blossom Box..thank you sooooo much, love! Isn't she so too sweet? :)

MYTH: Lately I don't look all smiles in my pics, hence I am not as cheerful as I used to be.

FACT: That's just crazy! I have always been the same cheerful person. I'm just currently practicing my cool-face look where I don't smile in photos hehehe...is it working? Like..do I actually look cool? Practice makes perfect, y'all! :)

MYTH: Marriage really changes you as a person, because you prefer to spend time just with your spouse and not with your friends!

FACT: In my case, marriage has kinda been reducing my time for socializing, because ever since I got married, I feel so complete and content and inspired that I keep on having so many new ideas that I want to execute! So if I'm a bit M.I.A among my friends, it's because I'm too much enjoying been in my own idea laboratory. But trust me, I will never neglect my friends. S & I always try to have a balanced portion of spending time with our family, friends and ourselves.

FACT: I do! But only to work. Otherwise, I prefer skirts / dresses / shorts with tights.

A lesson I randomly picked up after watching David Foster's concert (weird, I know): There's no point of trying too hard to be the best, because there really is no "best" in life. It's all perceptions created by different humans of different tastes and standards. What matters most is to enjoy being better every day.
