Good Night.
You can cry and get upset. You can think the world is over and there's no hope. But end the feelings that very night and start fresh the next day. Life's short! :)

Water & Air
Topshop dress, Kate Spade bag
If I were to nominate a certain year as the busiest time of my life, I guess it would be 2011. If I were to also nominate a certain year where I learned, improved and matured a lot, it would also be 2011. Huge things are happening in my life, and I cannot be more thankful to Allah for drilling me in His very own hard way.
I need some air to breathe though, so I've decided to cut down my activities. I will only be focusing on Up and a new business, and I guess I'll skip any new events or projects except ones I have committed to. I just wanna take things easy...:)
Btw, Dashboard Confessional is my favorite band. Just saying.
And oh, I attended Jakarta Highland Gathering today...so cool! :D

Me: "Mom, why am I scared?"
Mom: "Good. Having fear shows that your humble."

Blueprint Emporium - Day 2
It's a wrap! Yayyyyyyyy! Such an awesome experience to be a part of this event...thank you so much to the people of Blueprint for the opportunity! :)
I'm so thankful that the people I met in Singapore here were so nice and friendly...knowing that I was carrying 60 kg of stuff, everything felt so light and easy as I got helped by so many people along the way...and I got the best booth-neighbors! Seriously friendly people...:') At the end of the day, I traded a pair of my Up shoes for a skirt from the booth in front of me hahah...thanks, Saloni! :)
My personal favorite brands that took part in this event are: Belle Sauvage, Mae Pang, Revasseur, L'ile Aus Ashby and Bangkok Smiths!
As much as I'd love to take more pictures of the overall event, it really was difficult to as I couldn't really leave my own booth...and even when I did manage to take some snaps of a particular booth, the owner got upset and asked me to stop taking pictures of her products hehehe...soweeeeee ;p
Jeremy Scott X Adidas dress, Cotton On sequin cropped top, unbranded tights, Up wedges

Blueprint Emporium
Hi, all...I'm off to Singapore until Monday as Up will be joining Blueprint (Emporium) 2011, an Asian fashion event in Singapore which will be held in Marina Bay Sands, Expo & Convention Centre Hall B & C, 21-22 May 2011...:)
At Blueprint Emporium, you'll be able to shop till you drop hehehe..I myself have checked out the other brands that will be participating and I've been thinking hard on how to be present at my own booth while at the same time shop around hahah..and yes, this event is open for public..:)
Aannnd it's gonna be a very 'scary' experience for me since my brand is relatively new and I don't know how the people in Singapore will respond to it...but hopefully they'll love it! Nevertheless, I'm sure it's gonna be a great, insightful experience to meet other designers and brands from all over Asia, and to also chat with (hopefully) new customers from Singapore...:)
Thanks for all your support, guys...I love you! :)
For more info, kindly visit the website...:)

She Smells Chocolate
What do you do when a gorgeous lady walks by and she leaves a heavenly chocolate smell in the air? Do you go after her? Do you start sniffing? Do you imagine fluffy clouds?
Imagine this in real life...because you see, this WAS real...:D
Below is a "Magnum Dress" which was actually a wool dress covered in Magnum chocolate! :)

I got the chance to see this during the Clara Revival Night lights event...they had a special session just to show this dress as well as let the crowd enjoy chocolate-based desserts at their Magnum Lounge..
The dress itself was designed by Andreas Odang for Magnum...check out the chocolate embellishments!

PS: It would be really great if things were made very clear here in Indonesia. I guess 'clarity' is one of the things lacking in our country. When I was in Malaysia, I could easily identify which food I'm allowed to consume, or which leather products I can buy, as there will always be clear signs informing us which is "not halal" or "uses pig skin lining". Even the shop attendants would always inform us regarding these things without being asked first. This is a sensitive and essential matter as it involves our faith, you know? Just knew that one of the chocolate drinks I had that night had liquor in it. It's either I was stupid enough to not know, or people just assume that everyone drinks.
